ACTIVITIES - 2005
School based Service
    1. Counseling / Screening program in class room for assessments of health needs and awareness of adolescents using a questionnaire based format:
            6 Govt. Schools (3 boys & 3 girls) participated in the program.
            No. of school students screened so far – 2479
            No. of screening programs held – 67
    2. Teachers orientation program on Adolescent Health Issues –
          No. of orientation program held – 10
          No. of teacher oriented – 283
    3. Session for awareness and attitudes of parents regarding adolescent
           issues - 
           No. of orientation program held – 3
           No. of parents participated – 311
    4. Family life education session at Adolescent Health Clinic.
           No. of students participated: 67
    5. Celebration of Teenage Month on 31.04.2004 at Hare School Kolkata. An adolescent Health Checkup Program was conducted on that day. 33 teachers and 38 students attended the program.
    6. 2 workshops on Adolescent Health Awareness at Hare School Kolkata on 03.03.2005 and 04.03.2005.
           No. of students participated was 26 and 33 respectively.
    7. Organization of group discussion, interschool debate competition on adolescence issues – In various schools on many occasions.
Clinic based service
    1. Once a week (Friday) afternoon (2 – 4 pm) OPD clinic.
      Total No. of Adolescent attended till date : 516
      (87 at 2002, 207 at 2003, 153 at 2004 and 69 in 2005 till date)
      No. of adolescents attended from schools: 292
      Referred  – 224
